DIE EVOLUTION VON VENTOSTREAM

THE EVOLUTION OF VENTOSTREAM

FROM IDEA TO PATENT

The VentoStream AG, founded in 2023, originated from a family idea. For over 15 years, engineer Gebhard Bernsau researched and developed the VentoStream wind turbine. Despite all opposition, he has always held on to his idea. The technology of the turbine is protected by already granted and pending patents.

Founding of
VentoStream AG

After 13 years of research and development, the Bernsau family, along with two founding investors, establishes the company VentoStream. Gebhard Bernsau, the face behind the revolutionary wind turbine, continues to oversee development. His son Manuel Bernsau takes over the management.

2020

First fully functional prototype

To test the turbine in the wind, Gebhard Bernsau builds a flow-optimized wooden prototype on a small scale. Its functionality and structure are thoroughly examined in the wind tunnel, and initial measurement data is collected under different wind conditions. This data served as the basis for the later scaling of the wind turbine.

Energy converter
receives first patent

Within six years, Gebhard Bernsau develops and builds the first fully functional energy converter machine. It is then patented. Unlike traditional wind turbines, his design includes an energy converter. This optimizes and accelerates the conversion of wind into energy. Due to its compact design, this system is particularly small, cost-effective, and robust against extreme conditions.

Visionary Gebhard Bernsau driven by the spirit of invention

The passionate mechanical engineer Gebhard Bernsau is increasingly being approached about the issues surrounding conventional wind turbines. Within him, the idea for a completely new method of wind energy is born. One that is not only energy-efficient but also operates quietly and without casting shadows or causing bird strikes.
